Atelier Sphera
May 2026—From my studio in the Eastern Townships, I create all kinds of artworks inspired by nature. My current explorations focus on eco-friendly painting techniques, including egg tempera, handmade watercolors, beeswax encaustic, and other discoveries that come with the changing seasons. Observational drawing and geometry continue to fascinate me deeply, connecting me to the natural world around me and to the wisdom of past generations.
Fall 2025: I had the pleasure of collaborating with the Sutton School of Art and community radio station CIDI 99.1FM to create a podcast and radio show! WORKSHOPS: My creative workshops are on pause for now, as I’m prioritizing family time with our new baby. I plan to resume them in the fall of 2026.

Original works and artistic commissions
Trained in painting (BFA) and traditional art (MA), I create visual works combining ancestral techniques and ecological practices. My creations are available for exhibitions, private collections or commissioned projects.

I regularly give art classes in Canada and abroad, both face-to-face and online. These workshops are adapted to all ages and can be offered in schools, museums, art centers or universities.

Digital media and collaborative projects
With a degree in visual communications (Emily Carr University) and over 10 years' experience in documentary, I support individuals, nonprofits, and businesses that enhance harmony between people and the planet.
Children's Eco-art workshops "Exploring Earth Pigments". This includes exploring our local rivers, collecting pigments, and learning about how art historical methods can be applied to create environmentally-friendly art.
Overseas teaching - I recently had the pleasure to travel from Canada to Qatar to teach design from nature (Nabati) and heritage painting techniques for the King’s Foundation of Traditional Arts in the context of their new training programme. I absolutely loved the experience and missed the students and colleagues dearly!
Online teaching - I have been working on a regular basis with Nisa Support (Montreal) since 2022, providing online art & design workshops for groups of 15-50 students. Here a snapshot from: Drawing from Nature - Nov & Dec 2024 /
The Birds of BC Mindfulness Coloring book started as a personal project but turned into a lovely series of workshops with forest schools and public libraries.
I had a wonderful experience facilitating STEAM workshops at the Study School, in collaboration with Robot in a Can educational initiative-QC Canada (2023 & 2024)

I lived in Jordan for 2 years where I was involved in multiple large scale murals with teams. Here is a mural for Crowne Plaza Hotel - on a temporary wall hiding a construction area that we executed in less than 2 hours with 25 staff members (2011)
I have participated in dozens of short documentary film projects in the past 15 years: from project management, to editing, to script writing, voiceovers and grant writing. I look forward to writing a blog about some of my extended travels in the Middle East, North and West Africa, and more!
